Senior Caregiver Carlsbad (Full-Time)

Job Title: Caregiver (Full-Time)
Location: Carlsbad, San Diego
Pay Rate: $20−$25 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Caregiver to provide quality care and support to an elderly senior in Carlsbad, San Diego. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to improve the well-being and quality of life for seniors, offering assistance with daily activities, companionship, and personal care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide medication reminders and support with health management
Help with mobility and transfers to ensure safety
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed
Light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean living environment
Offer companionship and emotional support
Accompany to appointments, errands, and outings
Monitor and report any changes in health or behavior

Qualifications:

Previous experience in senior care or similar role preferred
Compassionate, patient, and respectful nature
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
Ability to work full-time hours
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle a plus

Requirements:

Certification: HCA (Home Care Aide) certification required
Health: Proof of TB (Tuberculosis) vaccine
Experience: At least 1 year of caregiving experience or currently a CNA/nursing student
Attitude: Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Responsibility: Be on time, communicate effectively, provide two weeks’ notice for days off, dress professionally, respond promptly to all communication from the office, access to a vehicle, and complete all state-mandated training
